Families from across greater Miami come to Blessed Trinity School for an outstanding coeducational, Catholic experience. From our preschool through grade 8, you’ll find rigorous academics and abundant opportunities for holistic and spiritual growth.
Our graduates are equipped with skills to help them be successful and productive citizens in a global environment. Key skills include development of creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Our students become lifelong learners where the possibilities are endless!
With an average of 15 years of experience and many with advanced degrees, our faculty and staff are highly trained to provide an excellent educational experience for your child. Our teachers use hands-on, minds-on learning opportunities to foster interactive experiences. From mock simulations of refugee camps to building rockets or designing 3D models of animal adaptations to paper maché, our students are active participants in their own learning. Meet the teachers here.

Our school utilizes the Archdiocese of Miami curriculum. Core courses for students include Religion, Mathematics, Language Arts (to include Reading/Literature, English, Phonics, Spelling, Vocabulary, and Handwriting), Science, and Social Studies.

“Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” -Matthew 18:5
At Blessed Trinity, we believe that even our youngest students are capable of greatness. Our classroom environments, led by caring and energetic teachers, are warm and welcoming. Opportunities for choice and creative expression abound through flexible, relevant learning experiences. Social and emotional development is nurtured through language-rich interactions and playful engagement in group activities. We are committed to providing a comfortable school education so as to encourage a positive perception of school for our students. Using the Early Literacy and Learning Model/Plus (ELLM/Plus) curriculum, our students come to understand the world around us by thinking creatively and critically, while growing in personal, social, and emotional development. We use the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards (2017) to monitor and promote the child’s developmental progression.
Our Pre-K curriculum encourages young children to grow in the areas of:
- faith formation
- physical development
- approaches to learning
- social and emotional development
- language and literacy
- mathematical thinking
- scientific inquiry
- social studies
- creative expression through the arts
Blessed Trinity is committed to cooperating with parents in holding our children to high conduct and academic standards. Our Pre-K students participate in developmentally appropriate STREAM integrated activities throughout the year, which encourage them to make connections between what they learn and solving problems in the world. We have learned that when we hold students to these high expectations, they more than rise to the occasion. Young children have a unique understanding of the world. We not only support but also embrace our students’ natural wonder throughout our Pre-K program.
Learning Happens Everywhere
The classroom is just the start of the learning experience at Blessed Trinity. Our students write stories, conduct science experiments, learn coding, cast a critical eye to the past, and design solutions for the future. The curriculum at Blessed Trinity School centers around core academic experiences in math, science, language arts, religion, and social studies. To these, we add the study of Spanish, physical education, and other electives. As a whole, our uniquely rigorous and compassionate academic program helps students understand their roles as stewards of our world and servant leaders of our future.
Teaching
Blessed-Trinity understands that students learn differently. Our academic program has been designed to reach students where they are, intellectually and emotionally. This means students feel engaged, inspired, and supported as they advance through our program.
Differentiation
Blessed Trinity teachers are intelligent, passionate, and creative. Our teachers are catechists, as well as professional educators. They participate in a variety of professional development on a regular basis and implement research-based strategies in our classrooms. They establish strong, trusting relationships with students, encouraging students to aim high and providing support when they fall short. Recent, and even not-so-recent, graduates regularly visit the Blessed Trinity campus to reconnect with beloved former teachers.
Assessment
We use a variety of assessment types to ensure student success at each stage of learning. Teachers utilize progress monitoring to determine student levels of understanding and inform future instruction. Projects are utilized as open-ended assessments and supplement more traditional assessment types. Students also participate in Terra Nova testing each year, which allows Blessed Trinity to gauge student success on a national level. We give students and their parents/guardians information they need to set appropriate goals and meet future challenges.
Vision
Saint John Paul II Program’s vision is for students to develop curious and creative minds, healthy bodies, ethical values, and a commitment to service; for parents to be completely confident in the creative, intellectual, and social education of their children; and for educators to lead their field in preparing students to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Program Overview
Blessed Trinity Catholic School recognizes the need to provide research based special education services to students who are differently abled. The purpose of the Saint John Paul II Program is to identify and support students with specific learning needs so that every child can meet their academic potential. Our motto: “Crescat Scientia Vita Excolatur” means “Let Knowledge Grow, Let Life Be Enriched.” This motto embodies the idea that our students will be fully enriched when their educational needs are fully met.
The Saint John Paul II program provides academic instruction in Math and ELA and
serves students with Specific Learning Disabilities or Speech Language Impairments
who are performing 1 to 2 years below grade level. The goal of the Saint John Paul II
program is to raise a student’s academic skills to be on grade level and transition the
student to the general education setting. Any testing completed to determine a
disability must be completed by a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Neurologist.
Students with mild exceptionalities may be eligible for academic Accommodations in
the general education setting based on their diagnosis and Psychoeducational Testing
completed by a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Neurologist. Please
note that Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT) are not allowed at Blessed Trinity Catholic School.
The Trinity Enrichment Program is offered to students in Grades 3 through 8, who have demonstrated high levels of creative and productive thinking, have superior intellectual development, and demonstrate the ability to work at an accelerated pace in the areas of Reading, Language Arts, and Mathematics.
The students are fluent readers, have excellent comprehension skills, can determine inferences from any literature or informational text, and are proficient writers. The enrollment process includes current test scores and teacher recommendations. Students are pulled out of their homerooms during ELA and receive above-grade level instruction designed to challenge these advanced learners. Trinity Enrichment Math is offered for Grades 3 through 7. This course is designed for students who excel in mathematics and can receive instruction at a faster pace.
We also offer a High School Dual Enrollment Honors Algebra I course through the Archdiocese of Miami Virtual Catholic School.
