Blessed Trinity School Mission Statement:

“Blessed Trinity Catholic School’s mission is to witness and nurture the transforming power of the teachings of Christ through the education of our children.”

The following goals have been derived with the help of the SIP surveys that were completed during the 2009-2010 school year:

A. Interpersonal Skills

Students in fourth grade will increase effective communication skills to demonstrate positive relationships with others by showing a 25% decrease in disciplinary infractions (referrals) at the end of year 3.

B. Thinking and Reasoning Skills

Students in second grade will increase proficiency in critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve mathematical problems by 10% using formal assessments at the end of year 3.

C. Learning to Learn Skills


Students in grades sixth through eighth will assist in all phases of development and implementation of school service projects to promote and enhance their organizational skills by 10% at the end of each year.


Belief Statements

1. We believe that each student is a unique child of God, created in His image and likeness with unique qualities that enrich their spiritual, physical, and emotional growth.

2. We believe that in order for the student to learn they must be given the opportunity to succeed.

3. We believe that our school provides a safe and comfortable learning environment which enhances and promotes student learning and success.

4. We believe that through example, celebration of the sacraments, and active participation in community building events, our school fosters an integral Catholic education.

5. We believe that our school combines the integrity of our students’ Catholic formation with their learning and life.

6. We believe that parents are the principal instruments of God to educate their children.

7. We believe that to successfully have a sound educational program, ongoing evaluation and improvement of the curriculum is crucial to the success of each student.

8. We believe that the students’ attainment of knowledge is of the utmost importance and is gained in multiple ways.

9. We believe that to foster an environment that is conducive to learning, it is essential to establish respect and love between the students, staff, parents, and clergy.

10.We believe that the community, students, parents, and staff share equally the responsibility to create an environment that builds on a strong Catholic educational setting.
